National Geographic - This resource features a complete archive of National Geographic magazine from 1888 to the present.  It includes People, Animals, and the World, which offers National Geographic books and National Geographic Traveler magazine as well as a cross-searchable collection of books, maps, images, and videos.

Nature - Nature, first published in 1869, is a weekly international journal publishing peer-reviewed research in all fields of science and technology.   Of use both to research scientists and the general public, its articles are of interdisciplinary interest.
