The nominations for the 2017 Grammy awards were announced Tuesday, December 6, 2016.

Beyoncé led the field with nine nominations which brought her career total to sixty-two nominations. She is now the most nominated woman in Grammy history!

The Grammy Awards go to music in various genres like Jazz, R&B, or Country as well as the General Category Awards in four categories, Album of the Year, Record of the Year (for best single recording), Song of the Year (for best songwriting) and Best New Artist.
