New Video Streaming Service Now Available to all Members!

With your library card you will now have access to thousands of movies, documentaries, indie and foreign films through Kanopy.
Kanopy is a video streaming platform that offers films from hundreds of producers including The Criterion Collection, The Great Courses, Kino Lorber, PBS and thousands of independent filmmakers.
The collection includes indie hits like 2 Days in Paris, classic masterpieces like Day of the Dead and Bicycle Thieves, and award-winning documentaries like I Am Not Your Negro
Films can be watched anytime from anywhere.  After creating a Kanopy account, you can stream up to 10 movies per month. Your play credits will reset on the first of each month. Once a play credit is logged, you will have 3 full days (72 hours) to watch the film as many times as you like.
Here’s how to get started:
  1. Go to and create an account by selecting the Sign up link.
  2. Go to your email account to verify your email address.
  3. Add your library card number and PIN.
  4. Start watching videos!
