Privacy is big news! We live in the epicenter of citizens asserting their data rights while companies scramble to adapt data-driven business models. Come learn about the California Consumer Privacy Act and what our new law means, plus some tips on how to control your information online. Our speaker is Professor Aleecia M. McDonald, faculty at Carnegie Mellon’s Information Networking Institute. Professor McDonald runs the Psst! Lab, studying privacy, security, secrecy, & transparency.  This is a free program and prior registration is not required.
