Minding Your Stress with Julie Forbes

Stress is a normal part of everyday experience. However, there are times when the negative effects of stress begin to take a toll on the quality of your life. These symptoms can be physical, emotional or interpersonal. The effects of stress can impact you both at work and at home, impairing your experience. Fortunately, there are ways to maximize your well-being even amidst challenging situations.

  • Practice mindful tools to minimize stress in your daily life

Julie Forbes, Ph.D. is an educator, consultant and facilitator offering stress reduction and mindfulness to corporate and community organizations, groups, and individuals. Currently, she is teaching mindfulness-based stress reduction programs at variety of locations including Palo Alto Medical Foundation, Kaiser Permanente, and Avenidas. Julie has worked in the computer industry since 1982 and received a doctorate in psychology in 1999.
