NaNoWriMo at SCCLD

November is National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo for short. This year, two SCCLD libraries, Cupertino and Milpitas, are official Come Write In locations. NaNoWriMo challenges you to write a 50,000-word novel in one month. Think it's impossible? Think again! Did you know that Rainbow Rowell's Fangirl, Erin Morgenstern's The Night Circus, and Sara Gruen's Water for Elephants, all huge bestsellers, started out as NaNoWriMo projects? If they can do it, so can you! Sign up at nanowrimo.org to get started!

Whoops! Though I love a big book, 50,000 pages might even be too long for me! ;) Thanks for pointing it out, it's been corrected.

This sounds so cool! Just one thing- I think '50,000 pages' is a typo.
