Meeting Room

Looking for some meeting space?

Community groups are invited to use the Auditorium. There are certain meeting that are not open to the public, such as Library and City staff meetings, interviews, training sessions, and the like. All other programs and meetings must be free and open to the public.

Eligible Organizations (in priority order)

  1. Santa Clara County Library District
  2. Organizations whose programs are co-sponsored by SCCLD (Friends of the Library, The Reading Program, etc.)
  3. SCCLD related groups such as Library Commissions, Friends of the Library or library foundations or endowments
  4. City or Santa Clara County sponsored meetings
  5. Civic, school and nonprofit froups presenting programs of public interest

Fees, Frequency, and Capacity

  • There is a $25 non-refundable fee to book the room (per use). Checks should be made payable to the Milpitas Public Library, or to Santa Clara County Library.
  • Groups can book the room for use once a month.
  • Groups can range from 10-150 people.

Making a Reservation

Before making your reservation take a look at our Meeting Room Policy to ensure your group meets the requirements. Please also review the usage information about Milpitas Library's auditorium.

  1. Contact the adult reference desk in-person or by phone at 408.262.1171 to make your reservation.  (Note: may be made up to 3 months in advance)
  2. Fill out the application form.
  3. Drop off the application at the library (or mail it in: 160 N. Main St., Milpitas, CA 95035)


Please contact the adult reference desk in-person or at (408) 262-1171 at least two days before event to cancel a booking or future use may be prohibited.
