Great Decisions 2018 Coming to Los Altos Library!

Los Altos Library is proud to host an eight-week Great Decisions group on Mondays from February 5 through April 2 (no class on February 19 due to Presidents' Day) from 1 to 3 p.m. Videos on each topic will be presented, followed by discussions. Books can be purchased for $30 and should be ordered as soon as possible from

Discussion Group

Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. The program model involves reading the Great Decisions Briefing Book, watching the DVD, and meeting in a Discussion Group to examine the most critical global issues facing America today.

Here are the discussion topics for each week:

Mar. 5 Media and Foreign Policy
Mar. 12 Turkey: A Partner in Crisis

Apr. 2 Global Health: Progress and Challenges
