Silicon Valley Reads 2016 Kick-Off Event

Silicon Valley Reads 2016 will be launched Tuesday evening, January 26th, 7:30pm, at the Campbell Heritage Theater. This year’s theme, Chance of Rain?, explores the effect of climate change with the books, Memory of Water by Emmi Itäranta and Sherwood Nation by Benjamin Parzybok. Both authors will be interviewed on stage by Mercury News columnist Sal Pizarro.

This kick-off event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 6:45pm. No tickets or reservations are required. Welcoming music will be performed by Del Mar High School Saxophone Ensemble under the direction of William Burkhead.

Copies of the books will be available for purchase, and authors will sign books after the program.
