Meeting Room

Looking for some meeting space?

Community groups are invited to use the Meeting and Community Room. All programs and meetings must be free and open to the public.

The room is available for reservations on:

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays: 1pm - 8:30pm
  • Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays: 10am - 5:30pm

Eligible Organizations (in priority order)

  1. Library programs
  2. Library related groups (Friends of the Library, The Reading Program, etc.)
  3. City of Gilroy meetings
  4. Civic, school, and nonprofit groups presenting meetings of public interest
  5. Other groups not included above and not excluded by the Santa Clara County Library District Meeting Room Policy.

Fees, Frequency, and Capacity

  • There is a $25 non-refundable fee to book the room (per use) payable by cash or check made out to Gilroy Library or Santa Clara County Library.
  • Groups can book the room for use once a month.
  • Groups can range from 6-100 people.

Making a Reservation

Before making your reservation take a look at our Meeting Room Policy to ensure your group meets the requirements. Please also review the usage information about Gilroy Library's Meeting room and Community Room.

  1. Contact the information desk in person, at 408.842.8207 or email to make your reservation.  (Note: may be made up to 3 months in advance)
  2. Fill out the application form.
  3. Drop off the application at the library (or mail it in:  350 W. Sixth St., Gilroy, CA 95020)
