Get Started with Medicare

Want to learn more about your Medicare options? Get started with Medicare and learn about upcoming changes for 2019. This informative presentation is for those who are new to Medicare, as well as current Medicare beneficiaries who are interested in changing their coverage. After the presentation, HICAP counselors will answer questions and help participants enroll.

The presentation includes:
  • Overview of Medicare
  • Annual Enrollment Period (AEP): Who is it for? What can be done?
  • Moving between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage during the AEP
  • 2019 Medicare Advantage HMO and Medicare Prescription Drug plan offerings
  • Highlights of other Medicare changes in 2019
