Celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday at Santa Clara County Libraries

In celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America Day, children are invited to take part in special programs at four Santa Clara County libraries.

Thursday, March 1, Milpitas Library, 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Children in grades 2-5 will hear stories and make oobleck and slime. This program is only open to the first 30 participants.

Friday, March 2, Los Altos Library, 4 to 5 pm. Children ages 4 and up and their families are invited to take part in a variety of hands-on, Seuss-themed science activities. This program is presented by The Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose. Come dressed as a Dr. Seuss character if you like!

Saturday, March 3, Campbell Library, 2 to 4 pm. Children of all ages are invited to meet the Cat in the Hat, enjoy a special Dr. Seuss storytime, and have fun with arts and crafts.

Sunday, March 4, Woodland Branch Library, 2 to 4 pm. Children ages 4 and up are invited to a reading of "Green Eggs and Ham", followed by craft activities.

While you're at the library, check out your favorite Dr. Seuss books!
