And The Winner Is...

The Great American Read

Thanks to the enthusiastic reading and voting through SCCLD libraries, many favorites are winners in The Great  American Read.

From May 22 – October 23, we joined PBS’s The Great American Read, a nationwide hunt to find America’s best-loved books. Read from PBS’s 100 Best-Loved Books list.

The national winner is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee while here at home the SCCLD district wide winner is J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series (with To Kill a Mockingbird a close second)!
