Jane in the Jungle


During the month of March, we celebrate the accomplishments of women.  Recently this new book, Untamed, arrived in the library and it reminded me of a biography I read many years ago about this young scientist. She is a woman whose patience and keen skills of observation led her to some relevant discoveries in the animal world. In fact, she became one of the most famous experts on chimpanzees.

So for Womens History Month, I wanted to share some books about a fascinating woman who is both a primatologist and a UN Messenger of Peace, Jane Goodall.
