The Sociology Collection offers information on sociology and social services, including related topics such as addiction, community & mental health services, gerontology, race & ethnicity, family & marriage, psychology, race relations, and more.  Ideal for those studying or working in the fields of social care, social policy, social services, social structure, or social welfare, the Sociology Collection is a dependable source of relevant data.  Information is provided in the form of abstracts, indexing and full-text coverage of journal articles, books, book chapters, dissertations, working papers, and more.

The collection includes full-text access to over 700 sociology journals including titles such as The American Journal of Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology Quarterly, the International Journal of Men’s Health and many more.

Limit your search to full-text and/or peer reviewed articles using the basic search, or use the advanced search to limit by source, (dissertation, proceedings, or magazines, for example), document type, (such as article, thesis, biography) or language.  The publication search searches over 1,600 scholarly journals as well as magazines, trade journals and other publications.  It allows you to limit by source type, publication subject or language and offers an A-Z list for easy navigation.

Use the Sociology Collection for help at work or school, or for your own personal research.  All you need is your SCCLD library card and PIN.
