Library Card Renewals

Residents are currently being asked to provide written verification of their current address in order to renew their cards.  For questions about renewing your card, please contact us.

Your PIN

When you register for a card, your default PIN (Personal Identification Number) is set as the last 4 digits of your phone number, unless you've chosen otherwise.

Change Your PIN:

  1. Login to your account with your username or barcode and PIN.
  2. Select the My Settings link at the top of the page.

  3. Enter your existing PIN in the Old PIN field.
  4. Enter your new PIN in the New PIN field.
  5. Enter new PIN again in the Confirm New PIN field.
  6. Click the Save button.

From Former Catalog:

  1. Login to your account with your barcode and PIN.

  2. Click on Profile.

  3. Enter your existing PIN in the Old PIN field.
  4. Enter your new PIN in the New PIN field.
  5. Enter your new PIN again in the Re-enter New PIN field.
  6. Click the Update button.

Go to the Accounts Desk at one of the Santa Clara County Library Distict locations.

Forgot Your PIN?

You can Reset Your PIN online. An email will be sent to the email address associated with your library account, including a link that will allow you to select a new PIN.

If you do not have an email address on file, you will need to go to the Accounts Desk at one of the Santa Clara County Library District locations for assistance.
