A new year is right around the corner and, with it, so are New Year's Resolutions! There is just something about the promise of the new year that inspires people, young and old alike, to make a fresh start by setting goals for positive change. While there are many common themes for resolutions, such as exercise and eating more healthily, it is a good idea to set goals that can be met and are meaningful to you. To help you decide on your resolutions, the website for the American Academy of Pediatrics offers Healthy New Year's Resolutions for Kids, while the PBS Parents website features an article about Making New Year's Resolutions with Your Child. The Los Altos and Woodland LIbraries also have the following books to help with your resolutions:
Eat, Play, and Be Healthy
The Monster Health Book
Eat This, Not That, for Kids
Yoga Games for Children
My Life
77 Creative Ways Kids Can Serve
