The Woodland Branch Tweens Read Book Club had its first meeting last week! Not only did we talk about the book (The London Eye Mystery) but we also performed a Name Juggle, did a Bristish to American English word match, and snacked on salt and vinegar crisps (potato chips) along with other goodies. We also passed out the book for next month, The Case of the Missing Marquess by Nancy Springer.

While we won't always be reading mysteries, this one ties in nicely with the book from our last meeting. It is the first in a new series featuring Enola Holmes, the much younger sister of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. The book begins with Enola's mother going missing; when her brothers arrive to investigate they decide to send Enola to boarding school. She has other plans.
