Happy Birthday, Edward Gorey

To celebrate the birthday of writer and illustrator Edward Gorey (1925-2000) on February 22, the bookstore at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco is hosting a special evening of Gorey-themed entertainment. It may be too late to make it to the birthday party, but you can always visit the museum for free with the library's Discover and Go program.

Even Google is getting into the spirit, with its logo honoring Edward Gorey today.
