On the first day of Christmas
My true love gave to me:
A chicken in a pear tree!
Alice and Joanie B. love to crow, er, sing out loud - la la la la la lalaaaaaaa!
O Frosty the snowman was alive as he could be
And the chickens say he could laugh
And play just the same as you and me
Alice: Braawwk! I can't wait for the Sing-a-long Chistmas Songs program at Milpitas Library on Tuesday night at 7 pm.
Joanie: Wrrraaight! That's Tuesday, December 18th in the Auditorium - featuring the Bayside 4-H A Cappella Carolers and us, of course. What would a carol be without a good crowing?
Alice: You mean crooning.
Joanie: Nooo.... that's what Bing Crosby does, er, did, Alice... A chicken can crow, just like a rooster - loud and clear for all to hear.
Alice: Well, I'm crowing now about the 4-H - they are the reason I am here before you now! A smart, vivacious 4-H Youth and student of Plant and Animal Science, raised me from a baby chick. I grew up to be ME! And thanks to the county fair, that's how Laurenjoan came to bring me home and then to the library.
Joanie: Indeed, so I could be the boss of you!
Alice: And so we could bring the Bayside 4-H A Cappella Carolers to the Milpitas Library, to lead us all in song. Huzzzah!
Joanie: Be there, Tuesday, December 18 at 7 pm - or be square.
Santa Chicken is coming to towwwn!
In the meantime, here's a video to get you in the chicken caroling mood:<
