Job Title: Acting Community Librarian

How long have you been with the library? 9  years at Los Altos, 16 years with the SCCLD

Favorite thing about working here:  Every day I feel like a kid in a candy store! Not only do I get to check out all the fabulous books, magazines, music, etc. etc. Even more, I LOVE letting people know about all the great stuff we have. It is a great day when I hear someone say with delight, “I didn’t know you had that!”

Hobbies & Interests: reading (!), hiking, bird watching, traveling, cooking, bowling, writing limericks

Favorite books: “The Scarlet Letter” by Nathaniel Hawthorne and “The Wonderful Flight to the Mushroom Planet” by Eleanor Cameron.

Favorite movies/TV shows: “Waiting for Guffman” by Christopher Guest,  “Lost” and “The X-Files”

Favorite album: Pet Shop Boys’ “Discography”

Favorite song: “Wonderful, Wonderful” by Johnny Mathis

Little known fact: I have actually seen a Melodious Laughing Thrush in the wild! The rarest bird I’ve seen in the wild is the Yellow-Eyed Penguin.
