Enjoy a Winter Romance with your Garden

Do you enjoy your garden from May to September but find the winter months are just cold and lonely? Are you the 'plant in spring, harvest in summer and fall,' kind of person? Don't despair, you can have a healthy, productive vegetable garden in any season.  There's no need to go it alone, the Master Gardeners can show you how to keep your garden love affair blooming all year round.

Join us on Wednesday, August 21st at 7pm in the Gilroy Library Community Room.  Master Gardener Joan Cloutier will teach you how to grow a successful and productive vegetable garden from fall through spring. Find out what cool season vegetables are easy to grow and best for our climate. Soil preparation, watering, fertilizing, disease and pest management will also be discussed.

See how easy it is to utilize small spaces and containers for many of these vegetables. Eat tasty vegetables from your garden all year!

If you can't make the presentation (or if you'd just like some more info!) check out the titles below for advice on growing, and eating, winter vegetables.
