Winter Film Festival with Mark Larson at Cupertino Library

 
 
Santa Clara University professor and film scholar Mark Larson returns to Cupertino Library this month with a six week Winter Film Festival, featuring his favorite movies from around the world.  The Winter Film Festival begins Wednesday, January 22nd and continues through Wednesday, February 26th in the Cupertino Library Story Room on the ground floor.

Jan 22nd Mon Oncle (France, 1958) 
Jan 29th How Green was My Valley (USA, 1941)
Feb 5th This is Not a Film (Iran, 2011)
Feb 12th I was Born, But….. (Japan, 1932)
Feb 19th The Red Shoes (England, 1948)
Feb 26th Charulata (India, 1964)
Each session begins with the film at 6 pm, and ends with a lively class discussion  around 8 pm.  As before, we must limit capacity to 45 people, and you will need to reserve your seats for each session you plan to attend.
