Introduction to Zen Meditation at Cupertino Library
Zen meditation instructor Zhenyao Mo was authorized to teach Zen Meditation in the United States by the 85th Zen Patriarch, Wu Jue Miao Tian. He presently teaches at the American Zen Institution.
Zhenyao Mo will visit Cupertino Community Hall for an introductory session on Zen Meditation on Wednesday, May 15th at 7:00 pm.
Zhenyao Mo will teach participants the basics of seated meditation with an emphasis on correct posture and breathing techniques. Proper breathing while meditating guide the mind into a relaxed, profoundly focused state. The scientifically proven benefits of meditation include stress reduction, more restful sleep, a stronger immune system, and enhanced creativity and productivity.
