The Cupertino Library Adult Book Discussion Group will discuss this month's title, Raymond Chandler's The Long Goodbye on Thursday, November 15 at 7 pm. in the Cupertino Library Story Room.

Hardboiled Los Angeles Private Detective Phillip Marlowe helps his old friend, a down on his luck drunk and a new widower, Terry Lennox, leave Los Angeles safely. He doesn't realize until later how much trouble an old friend who's down on his luck can be....

The Book Discussion Group meets on the third Thursday evening of each month. Adults of all ages are welcome. If you can't make this month's meeting, you can pick up a copy of the December selection, The House I Loved, by Tatiana de Rosnay at the Adult Reference Desk any time after November 15th.
