Read & Vote: Teen Read Week 2013

Every year we celebrate Teen Read Week in October and there's so much you can do right now at Campbell Library before it gets here! You can:

Here are some Teens' Top 10 nominees that I've read and think are awesome or would really like to read:

Bitterblue: Okay, so you probably want to read the first books before you dive into Bitterblue but in general this is an awesome fantasy book with strong characters and a fast, exciting plot.

Seraphina: Very different from Bitterblue and therefore good in a completely different way. If you like quirky books with intricate plots and worldbuilding, read Seraphina!

Every Day

Every Day: This book is about what it would be like to wake up every day in a different person's body. What happens if you fall in love?

Wake: I have this theory that kids who watched The Little Mermaid when it first came out are now old enough to write and publish books about mermaids. This book is less about princesses under the sea and more about gorgeous, creepy sea creatures who will lure men to their deaths.

Code Name Verity

Code Name Verity: Argh, I keep meaning to read this historical fiction book about spies. You should go to the Teen Read Week books in the Teen Best Sellers area and borrow this before I do.

I Hunt Killers

I Hunt Killers: If you like Dexter and charming serial killers, this book is perfect for you! When your dad is a serial killer, you learn a lot of very interesting things. This book is not for the faint of heart.
