Cooking with Love
Carla Hall is one of those extremely talented chefs from past Top Chef episodes. On a cold day like today, Carla's "Chicken Pot Pie with Carrots, Celery, Pea Salt, & Herbs" sounds so good, doesn't it?
"Fire in My Belly" is a cook book by Top Chef finalist Kevin Gillespie. He can cook up mean pork belly dishes and is known for his unconventional use of ingredients, like those found in his "Roasted Banana, Toasted Peanut with Chocolate Bacon Mousse and Bacon Brittle" recipe.
I was excited to learn that he has a new cookbook and can't wait to try recipes in his book.
