Downloading an eBook:

OverDrive Kindle instructions

  • No software required. Kindle must be registered with an Amazon ID.
  • Most eBooks download directly to Kindle via Wi-Fi.
  • NOTE: Penguin Group USA titles must be downloaded to a computer before transferring to your Kindle.

OverDrive Kindle Reading App instructions

  • No software required. Kindle Reading App (available for Android, BlackBerry, iOS, Mac, Windows 7 or 8, Windows Phone 7) must be registered with an Amazon ID.
  • Most eBooks download directly to Kindle Reading App via Wi-Fi.
  • NOTE: Penguin Group USA titles are no longer compatible with the Kindle Reading App. Please use the OverDrive App instead.
