When it comes to action heroes the 80's/90's were in a class of their own. Gone were the days of the lithe and limber swashbucklers such as Errol Flynn, in their place were muscle bound hunks who delivered their catch-phrases with a dead-pan expression. It's August and the weather is fine in the South Bay. It's exactly the right temperature to encourage me to drag out my Weber Kettle and try my hand at some backyard BBQ. That's Barbecue - low and slow. It's a long (yet delicious) path to the the perfect ribs. I like to experiment with applewood and hickory, different bastes, sauces and brines.
