Would you know how to stop an armed robbery? Imogen spent 6 years earning her black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and her skills have always made her feel safe and confident. When a robbery happens right in front of her Imogen doesn’t react the way she expects and the night ends in tragedy. She can’t even remember what happened- all she knows is that she hid under a table and locked eyes with a boy across the diner and somehow ended up covered in blood. Traumatized and feeling like a failure, Imogen starts tuning out at school and lashing out at friends. Is she a failure at martial arts? Has all her work meant nothing? With the help of her family and the boy from the diner, Imogen has to work through her trauma, rethink her outlook on life and martial arts and finally remember what really happened that night.
