Like to build?  Interested in construction?  Sign up for the Block Kids program and be your own “General Contractor” for 45 minutes of heavy construction on Friday, February 15th at 3:30 p.m.

The program is for kids 1st-6th grade and you must pre-register to participate.   The program is presented by the National Association of Women in Construction.

All participants will be given 100 Interlocking blocks, a piece of string, aluminum foil and 45 minutes to use their imagination to build a project that is in some way related to construction.  Judges will interview participants about their creations and first, second and third place prizes will be awarded.

Check out the Books for Building reading list for some great books to get you building!
