The Milpitas Library is pleased to host the 10th Annual Exhibition of the Milpitas Camera Club which this year also features photographs by Milpitas High students. The exhibition kicks off with a reception on Saturday, May 18th from 2 - 4 pm in the auditorium which is open to all. With vivid colors that run riot over the canvas, the art of Gloria Ramos is making its bold presence felt in the south wing of the Milpitas Library until May 2013. A Triptych is a work of art that is divided into three pieces. Thanks to local artist Hung-Tsu Chen, lucky Milpitas Library visitors can see vivid examples of this art hanging in the library's upstairs gallery through the month of May. Chen uses multiple layers of delicate color that follow abstract shapes which connect over the three separate canvasses, unifying the parts of three into . . . 
An art happening is going on at the Milpitas Library throughout the month of March. A HUGE installation of art pieces from Rancho Milpitas Middle School advanced art students has filled the Milpitas Library reading courtyard. The Milpitas Library is pleased to be currently displaying the art of Milpitas students throughout the library. Paintings, pastels, and drawings from classes taught by art instructor Diana Mihalakis will be on display through the end of January 2013.
