This workshop will introduce the basics of sitting meditation, including postures, breathing techniques, and how to focus on chakras (energy points inside our body).
Through proper breathing and concentration, our mind enters a deeply relaxed and focused state. Once we transcend our untamed minds and get in touch with our inner selves, we gain access to inner peace, compassion and wisdom.
Scientifically proven benefits of meditation include: reducing stress, enhancing immune system, improving sleeping quality and increasing creativity and productivity.
About the teacher - Zhenyao Mo is authorized to teach Zen Mediation in the United States by the 85th Zen Patriarch, Wu Jue Miao Tian. He has been teaching Zen Meditation for the American Zen Association.
