Need help finding the next great book to read? Check out some of these resources hand-picked by children's librarians!

A great place to start is the Santa Clara County Library Kids Page. On the Kids Page you will find Book Reading Tools and other fun resources that are great for any age.

Want to know what the next book in the series is?  Are you waiting for the next Magic Tree House book but do not know the title? A great website to bookmark or add to your favorites is http://www.mymcpl.org/books-movies-music/juvenile-series. You can search for your favorite series by title or subject. This is a wonderful website provided by the Mid-Continent Public Library.

Are you looking for an “AR” (Accelerated Reader) level book? AR BookFinder allows you to search by author, readability level, point value, and topic. You can even narrow your search down to your child's AR level by using the Advanced Search!

Another great tool is NovelList K-8 Plus, suggestions, genre lists and read-a-likes arranged by title, author, series and topics.  Finding the book that interests you could not be easier.

Looking for some great book suggestions sent straight to your email inbox? You don't want to miss out on the NextReads newsletter. You can personalize your subscription to fit the reading interests of your entire family!

Don't forget to check out your local library to get some reading recommendations from your favorite children's librarians!
