Name: Laura Pasternack
Job Title: Librarian, Adult & Teen services at Woodland Branch
How long at the library: Just over four months!
Hobbies & Interests: Caring for my pets (dog, cats & snakes), playing viola with local orchestras, shopping, photography, and taking road trips.
Favorite thing about working here: Since Woodland is like a small-town branch, I enjoy getting to know our regular patrons... I also love doing reader's advisory, and creating displays in the adult/teen area.
Favorite books: Night (Wiesel), Anne of Green Gables, Replay (Grimwood), and anything by Stephen King or Langston Hughes.
Favorite movies: Back to the Future trilogy, The Blues Brothers, Double Indemnity.
Little known fact: I can play 8 different musical instruments, and currently have over 20 pet snakes.
