Kid's Summer Reading Club -- Did You Meet Your Reading Goal?

Posted on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 by LosAltos_Library

Did you sign up for the kid's Summer Reading Club?  Did you pick up your starting prize (a free book!)?  Have you been logging what you've read, earning on-line badges, and finding Hoot The Owl?  Have you reached your personal Summer Reading Club goal?  If you answered, "Yes!," then it's time to come into the library and pick up your final prize.  Just let the Librarian at the Children's Desk know that you have completed your Summer Reading and pick up your prize!

There is still plenty of time to reach your personal reading goal, if you haven't finished yet.  You have until the end of August to pick up your final prize.  Even if you've met your goal, you can still keep reading and pick up the final prize at any time until August 31st.

Hoot The Owl will be hiding in new places inside the Children's room, also until the end of August, with new prizes awarded for finding him each week.  There is even one more program, coming up on August 1st.  Check the calendar to learn more information about the Puppet Art Theater's shows!

And, if you haven't signed up for the Summer Reading Club yet, it's not too late.  Sign up on-line or ask a Children's Librarian for help the next time you're visiting the Los Altos Library!
