The general election will be held on November 6, 2012. In order to vote in this year's general election you can register to vote until October 22, 2012. For more information about how to register to vote, download and print a voter registration form, check the status of your voter registration or change the address and update your voter registration, please visit the the Register to Vote page of the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters.
The general elections is not only about the presidential election but also state and local election. A good websites to check out for issue positions and propositions is Project Vote Smart.
The library will also present a program by the League of Women Voters entitled Voter Education: Pros and Cons Ballot Forum. Receive an unbiased look at the pros and cons of the upcoming State Propositions on the November ballot.
