Legal problems?   Tenant’s rights?  Living trusts?  Library staff can’t offer legal advice, but we now have a subscription to Ebsco’s Legal Information Reference Center.  It contains full-text publications and legal forms. The legal reference books are provided through Nolo, the nation's oldest and most respected provider of legal information for consumers and small businesses. State-specific legal forms are searchable by subject areas including Adoption, Bankruptcy, Name Changes and more.

You can find information on Business & Investing,  Consumer, copyright, divorce, estate planning, forms, Government & Legal, house buying, law -- United States, law and legislation, Nolo, small business, taxation, and wills.

You can also find these popular legal forms:

  • Accident Claims
  • Bankruptcy
  • Buying a House
  • Consulting & Contracting
  • Divorce
  • Getting a Green Card
  • Human Resources
  • Living Trusts
  • Patents
  • Personal Injury
  • Selling a House
  • Wills

Here is one access point to the database: http://www.sccl.org/research/articles/resources/government-legal.  Or, on our home page, just use the search box to search for the keyword “legal” (after selecting the "website" option under the search box).
