The Library has a wonderful new resource to make reading even better. Reading is more fun when kids read together! With the Children's Book Club Kits, kids of all ages have the chance to read a great book and then share the experience.  Each kit contains 12 copies of the selected book plus a guide filled with discussion questions, activities and ideas.  Each child reads the book on his or her own, then a meeting time can be arranged to discuss the story and enjoy a few activities.  How often, how long, where …that’s up to you.  Make the club fit your group’s needs.  SCCLD provides the resources so that you can successfully lead the club with these fun guides.  Check the catalog for over a dozen titles including The Penderwicks, How to eat fried worms and The Buddy Files mysteries.
