The 2012 Summer Olympics are nearly here as the Opening Ceremonies begin tomorrow, July 27th.  What wonderful spectacle does London have planned?   We have come a long way from the first international Summer Olympic Games held in Paris in 1900 which included only 1000 total athletes.  The last games in Beijing featured over 11,000 competitors from 204 countries.
