Ready to take off and fly high? Ever dreamed of becoming a pilot? Did you know that Disney hired a plane expert to make the planes seem as real as possible in their new movie?

You can find out all about planes by checking out our awesome collection of non-fiction plane books in the Santa Clara County Library. From jet airliners, to military aircraft, to crop dusters, even sea planes, we've got the facts waiting for you. You can even find books on how to draw planes and making your own paper airplanes!

Want to see real planes that tell the story of aviation in California?  Plan a visit to the Hiller Aviation Museum in Redwood City. Or, checkout the website of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum for a glimpse into U.S. aviation history.
