Mad Hungry

Men eat differently from women. They eat more, they eat constantly, and they eat passionately. They are all appetite and no pretense. If they are "mad hungry" with no food in sight, life can be a living hell.

This is reality for author of Mad Hungry, Lucinda Scala Quinn. Although feeding boys constantly sounds like a daunting job, it must be very rewarding and pleasurable as Lucinda says, "...feeding them well is what many of us love to do and few jobs feel as satisfying. It's what keeps them healthy, keeps them happy, gives them some of their fondest memories, and teaches them to cook."

Quinn talks about tools, a guy-friendly pantry, strategic grocery shopping and food preparation, and an action plan for how to feed your boys. The epilogue by her 3 boys is quite nice and a proof that feeding boys well makes them healthy and feel happy.
