April is National Poetry Month and the Milpitas Library is celebrating on Wednesday nights. We start our celebration with a Poetry Slam on April 3rd starting at 6:00 pm. Our emcee will be renowned Poetry Slammer David Perez. April 10th at 6:00 pm we will host an Open Mic. All interested poets and musicians are encouraged to share your art! Attention Harry Potter Fans!! On Monday, August 20, at 6:00 PM the Wizard Rock groups The Whomping Willows and Lauren Fairweather will perform in the Milpitas Library Auditorium. Wizard rock is the term for music featuring situations and characters from the Harry Potter series. The concert is free for all!
