The 2014 Grammy Award Winners

Daft Punk at the 2014 Grammy Awards

In one of the signs of the ultimate demise of humankind, robots ended up dominating the 2014 Grammy Awards.

Actually, it just looks that way--the "robots" are the veteran electronica group from France known as Daft Punk.  Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis all managed to win four Grammys each.

However, the biggest news for me was the win for Lalah Hathaway and Snarky Puppy for Best R&B performance.  The win was a surprise because the group was the least well known of all the nominees in that category.  This victory makes Lalah Hathaway a second generation Grammy winner.   Her late father, Donny Hathaway, won a Grammy award in 1973 for dueting with Roberta Flack on "Where is the Love."

Here is some Grammy winning music you can check out!
