Tomatoes and summer—two things that are just meant to go together.
Master Gardener Alice Schwegman will be at the Cupertino Community Hall on Wednesday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. forGrow Great Tomatoes, this month's program in the Master Gardener’s series. She will give you tips on how to grow healthy plants and control garden pests even if you don’t have the space and energy for a complete vegetable garden.
For people who can’t imagine their hamburgers or salads without tomaotes, and who dream about BLT sandwiches and homemade salsa all winter, nothing you buy at the store can beat a fresh, home-grown tomato. Plant some this month and enjoy a fruitful harvest this summer.
The next Master Gardeners program will be held May 22nd at 7:00 pm at the Cupertino Community Hall. Topic TBA.
