Making College Affordable: FAFSA workshop at Cupertino Library

If you are planning to go to college or graduate school in the 2013/2014 academic school year and need financial aid to realize your goals, don’t miss this workshop:
FAFSA Workshop March 11, 2013 from 6-8 pm Cupertino Library Story Room
This workshop will cover the financial aid process, types of grants, requirements for financial aid and how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid online (FAFSA.gov). The FAFSA is used by current and incoming undergraduate and graduate students to determine eligibility for student financial aid including the Pell Grant, Federal student loans and Work-Study.
To make the most of this workshop, please bring the following:
• A laptop
• Your / your parents’ Social Security number
• Your / your spouse’s or parents’ financial records including:
• 1040 (A,EZ) or W-2 (this year’s or previous year’s)
Bank statement, business and investment records
• Your driver’s license number
• Your Alien Registration number
