Cupertino Library kicks off the first of our four Focus on Food programs by welcoming Carol Firenze, author of The Passionate Olive: 101 Things to do With Olive Oil back to Cupertino Community Hall. With her knowledge about and contagious enthusiasm for this liquid gold, she may be one of the best, most scholarly advocates olive oil has ever had. Carol earned her Olive Oil Consultant Certificate from the Italian Culinary Institute in New York and holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of San Francisco, with a focus on cultural and communicative understanding.
Please join us for this lively presentation and olive oil tasting on Sunday, March 24th at 2:00 pm at the Cupertino Community Hall. Whether your goal is to lose weight, enrich your social life or enhance your beauty regimen, Carol will tell you how olive oil can help you achieve them all.
Save the date for our next Focus on Food Program on Wednesday, April 3rd. You won’t want to miss an evening with Grand Chef Martin Yan, host of the PBS series, Yan Can Cook.
