Summer of Science: The Beauty of Mathematics

Posted on Thursday, July 4, 2013 by Cupertino_Library

For anyone who loves the logic and precision of numbers, Cupertino Library’s next Summer of Science program is for you.  Even if the blackboard above reminds you of every math anxiety moment you experienced in high school and college, everyone is welcome to stop by Cupertino Community Hall this Saturday and revisit the subject on friendlier terms. Giving your mind something new and different to work on is a great way to stave off the summertime blues. There won’t be a pop quiz, we promise.

On Saturday July 6 at 3:00 pm in the Cupertino Community Hall, Professor Farshod Mosh will demonstrate why he finds mathematics a thing of beauty.  Those who already love math will be in their element.  If you’re not sure about that yet, The Beauty of Mathematics will be a great place to find out.

Our next Summer of Science Program will be Chemistry Explained with John Hostettler on July 13th.
