Every book in the library has a call number. A call number is like your address; it tells where the book lives on the shelf. Books written about the same subject have the same call number and live together on the shelf. So who lives in the 001 to 100 neighborhood?
Do you believe? The begining of the nonfiction collection is where you will find books about monsters, ghosts and other things that go bump in the night! It's best not to read these books too close to bedtime!
Almanacs and world records! If you want to know how fast, how big, how long, or how many, this is the place to look!
The 001's also have books filed under "curiosities and wonders". Wonder what kind of book would be a curiosity? Me too! Curious, no?
"Who are you?" the caterpillar asked Alice. If only she had visited the 100's she might have known.
Do your eyes deceive you? Then you must be in the 100's! Discover the amazing world of optical illusions.
So what's next? Stay tuned for the 200's!
