On September 13th  the Cupertino Library Mandarin Book Discussion group will  discuss the September selection, Before I Go To Sleep by S. J. Watson.

Due to an accident two decades in her past, forty-seven year-old Christine Lucas wakes every morning unable to recognize her husband Ben, or to remember the past twenty years of her life.  Ben appears to be a patient, loving spouse, trying to help her reconstruct her memories of the life they once had. But small inconsistencies in his stories about their marriage, and the lack of any mementoes from that earlier time to help her trigger her memories gradually make Christine suspect he’s someone far more sinister.

The book discussion will be in Mandarin Chinese and will meet in Cupertino Community Hall at 10:30 am until noon. The next Mandarin book Group meeting is scheduled for November 8, 2012 at 10:30 am. The book for November will be Happier by Tal Ben-Shahar.If you cannot attend the September meeting, you can pick up a copy of the book at the Cupertino Library Adult Reference Desk on or after September 14th.
